Bonnie Wilson Metropolitan Funeral

Bonnie Wilson was born to Mary Louise (Battle) Moore and Willie Moore Sr., on February 11, 1956, in Portsmouth, Virginia. The Lord called her home to be with her parents, sister, and brother on April 7, 2023, no more pain.

Bonnie loved the Lord; she joined Holy Light Church of Deliverance over ten years ago. She served on the usher board and was a dedicated worker in the church.  Bonnie truly loved her church family. 

Bonnie Graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1975. She obtained a degree in Early Childhood Development at Tidewater Community College. She received her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she worked at Maryview Medical Center and Obici Hospital. She also worked in the dietary department at Maryview. 

Bonnie loved entertaining her family, cooking, and baking rolls were her specialty. She brought laughter and joy to all of those who knew her. Bonnie was known to love Betty Boop.

On April 7, 2023, Bonnie was surrounded by her family. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, husband Thomas Wilson, two sons Eltrento Moore (Donna) and Japeria Moore (Tara), sisters Connie Cannon (Redus) and Antionette Dixon (Henry), her brothers Thomas Moore, Larry Moore, Curtis Moore, and Horace Moore. 

Six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, and her best friend Rose Blizzard. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Sr. and Mary Louise Moore, her sister Patricia Ann (Moore) Williams, brother Willie Moore Jr., and nephew Carlos Lopez Moore.
